iOS SDK simulator audio problem

Hi group,

I just joined, ordered an ipad and can't wait to try making some synths using libpd.  This project is awesome and much needed!

Any idea why we don't get good audio through the iOS SDK simulator?  I just compiled PdTest1 and get lots xruns, and I see it is noted as not working in the readme.  Just wondering if anyone has tracked this problem down (it would be great to be able to develop with only my laptop and not connecting the device all the time).
